Asante Health System is issuing this news release on behalf of the Kim family. We announced at noon today that Sabine Kim, age 7 months, was discharged from Three Rivers Community Hospital in Grants Pass. Sabine, her mother, Kati Kim, and her sister, Penelope Kim, all left the hospital shortly before noon and are currently staying at an undisclosed location.

The family wishes to express their deepest, heartfelt gratitude for the tremendous outpouring of love, concern, and assistance to find the family, including heroic efforts of individuals all over the country and companies such as CNET, Carson Helicopters, and Edge Wireless, to name a few.
The family is grateful for the tireless efforts from the local, state, and federal law enforcement in San Francisco, Oregon, and Seattle, including officers such as Detective Weinstein and Lt. Powers.

We are overjoyed that Kati, Penelope, and Sabine are safe and sound, largely due to James Kim's remarkable efforts to ensure the safety of his family in this desperate situation, as well as Kati's incredible resourcefulness, including breast-feeding both children during their 9-day ordeal.
We ask now that you respect the Kim family's request for privacy and allow them to remain focused on the search for James. Thank you.
